Acevedo's rap sheet also includes an arrest for peeping at another young girl and cops believe he could be continuing his antics.
Jeffrey Marshall: When the short courtship of Elizabeth "Lynne" Waterson and Jeffrey Marshall ended, the ambitious, beautiful Lynne continued to deflect Marshall's unwanted advances. For months, cops say an obsessed Marshall stalked his former girlfriend and refused to take no for an answer until one day in April 2007, when he took his twisted infatuation to a deadly breaking point.
Sandra Cantu: To those who know her, 8-year-old Sandra Cantu is the epitome of the friendly, personable girl next door, but friends and family members hope that someone didn't take advantage of the second grader's trusting nature. Cops in Tracy, Calif. say Sandra went missing on March 28, 2009 and now the FBI has joined the effort to find her.

Devon Russell: Smuggling drugs, weapons and illegal aliens is big business along U.S. shores. In South Florida, federal, state and local law enforcement are taking on smugglers; since 2005, more than 30 innocent men and women have died at sea near Florida's coastline as a result of smuggling. Cops are now searching for a key player in the ring, Devon Russell.
Henry Pierre: Just days after an AMW tipster led the Royal Bahamian Police to suspected smuggler Henry Pierre, reports from the Bahamas say that the accused killer and alien smuggler was set free, but rearrested a short time later. The fugitive's initial release came as a complete surprise to cops in Florida, as U.S. officials were working vigorously to extradite Pierre to face charges on American soil.
Rosa’s Story: Rosa is a composite of several real women, just a few of the 50,000 people a year who are smuggled into the U.S. and treated as slaves. These victims of human trafficking are forced into a variety of exploitative situations including prostitution and hard labor. The Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 was designed to protect these victims as well as to prosecute human traffickers.
Patricio Sosa: Human trafficking is an awful crime, but for some it's big business -- and the FBI says when the Cadena-Sosa family saw there was money to be made, they jumped right in. Patricio Sosa was one of the ringleaders of an operation that imported women and children from Mexico and forced them into prostitution in Florida, according to agents -- and now law enforcement wants to put the brakes on this alleged trafficker.
Craig Oliver: When AMW last told you about scammer Craig Oliver, nearly a dozen tipsters recognized him as Danny Sullivan, a construction foreman in Phoenix, Ariz. But police say Oliver was able to slip away before the law enforcement dragnet scooped him up, and they need your help to track him down.
Rafael Cadena-Sosa: Like many young men, FBI agents say Rafael Cadena-Sosa went into the family business. Unfortunately, in his case that business was human trafficking and prostitution, reports the FBI. Sosa-Cadena and his brothers were allegedly part of a ring that imported women and children from Mexico and forced them into prostitution.
James Reimer: Cops in Oklahoma are looking for 40-year-old James Joseph Reimer, who they say took off with 14-year-old Deborah Kalai Fourzan; detectives believe Deborah is in danger because before they disappeared, Reimer sent text messages to Deborah soliciting sex.

Joey Offutt: When Pennsylvania State Police arrived at the scene of a house fire in Sykesville in the early morning hours of July 12, 2007, they weren't prepared for everything they were about to find. Once the fire was extinguished, some shocking details were revealed, and authorities are still struggling to answer all the questions left over from that day.
Liza Gonzales: Liza Monica Gonzales, also known as Liza Campos, is wanted for drug trafficking, as well as murder. She may be in Oklahoma or California, and police consider her extremely dangerous. Call 1-800-Crime-TV if you have seen her.
Joseph Allen Garcia: Joseph Allen Garcia, a man wanted on charges of murder, manslaughter, aggravated sexual assault with a deadly weapon and failure to appear has been named to the U.S. Marshals' 15 Most Wanted list.
Tempe Bank Robbers: For two nights in October 2007, two Arizona families fell prey to a trio of bank-robbing bandits. Both times, the suspects had one thing on their minds: using the victims to gain entry to the banks in which they worked. In the Tempe incident, the plan paid off, and the cash-rich culprits got away with nearly $400,000 -- the biggest robbery payday in Arizona history.
Ahmet Gashi: Kemal Kolenovic was a New York welterweight champion who took one hit from which he'd never recover on New Year's Eve 2006. Cops say a vicious foe, Ahmet Gashi, came at Kemal with some heavy armor, and he's been on the run ever since.
Yasmin Acree: Yasmin Acree is described as a fun-loving and well-adjusted young girl whose disappearance has stumped police in Chicago. She was last seen in her home, headed to her bedroom after finishing a load of laundry. Cops now say she's disappeared without a trace.
Jean Seraphin: Police say the search for accused killer Jean Seraphin has brought in tips from Miami and Jacksonville, Fla. Now, police want to turn up the heat on Seraphin for what he is accused of doing to two brothers back in April 2002. In fact, detectives want people in New York and Florida to be on high alert for this fugitive.
Unknown Jose Gurley Killer: 17-year-old Jose Gurley was a high school superstar in West Bridgewater, Mass., but when he returned home to Brockton, he was just another kid on the street, fighting for his life. At a party late last month, he lost that battle to a group of gang members shooting blindly into the night. Police locked up a man they say drove the getaway car, but even with almost 75 eyewitnesses to the crime, cops are still searching for the gunman.
Frank Brown: College freshmen are always making new friends, but when a student at Georgia State University started hanging out with fellow freshman Frank Brown, cops say it nearly cost him his life.
Sherry Halligan: In late January 2003, Sherry Halligan allegedly murdered her former boyfriend. After driving around in her car all night, cops say she drove straight to the police station, where they say she confessed all the details of her crime. Unfortunately, after being let out on bail, Halligan apparently changed her mind about coming clean.
David Mancha: David Simon Mancha is wanted for two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault; police believe he is still in Texas.
Tina Loesch: After years on the run, the saga of Tina Loesch and her lover, Sky Hanson, ended hours after AMW aired their story on Nov. 15, 2008. While the couple took their own lives in what cops are calling a suicide pact, the investigation is far from over as authorities in three states search for Kristopher Loesch.
Skye Hanson: After years of running from the law, the murder saga of Tina Loesch and her lover, Skye Hanson, came a close hours after AMW aired their story. On Nov. 15, 2008, the pair were found dead in an SUV outside Tucson, Ariz. and cops are calling the deaths a suicide pact.

Noe Torres: On the night of Sept. 15, 2005, 10-year-old Carlos Perez went to bed knowing that he had a big day ahead of him: it was to be his 11th birthday. That night, in his sleep, Carlos was killed in a hail of gunfire in his bed. The accused shooter, Noe Torres, is still at large, and an accomplice who has already been convicted of the crime -- Edward Salas -- has escaped from a New Mexico jail.
Chicago Jane Doe: When AMW first told the story of "Chicago Jane Doe" we knew nothing about her. She was a victim without a name but police in the Windy City were determined as ever to solve her case. With the help of a local dentist, Chicago Police identified Jane Doe as teenager Marlaina Reed. You might remember that Jane Doe had distinctive braces on her teeth and it looked like she had tried to pull them off herself. A Chicago dentist and his receptionist saw sketches in a local professional journal and recognized the young girl and the dental work. They contacted police and a positive identification was made. Windy City detectives are now one step closer to solving Marlaina's case, but they still need your help to find her killer.
George Perez: Cops in Baltimore, Md. say a bookkeeper there was not only cooking his employer's books, he was placing bets with his employer's money. Police say 32-year-old George Michael Perez embezzled more than $1 million from the company he worked for in order to fund his luxury lifestyle, but when his plan to beat the charges went up in smoke, he hit the road.
Curi Tapia-Martinez: A few short years ago, authorities in North Dakota and Minnesota thought they'd all but solved their methamphetamine crisis, shutting down most of the region's clandestine labs. What no one realized was that Mexican drug cartels were prepared to bring their laboratory-grade product to the market.
Courtenay Savage: On nights when the moon was full, a Florida family was awakened by the sound of gunshots blasting their home and their cars, the shooter sometimes firing into bedrooms where children were sleeping. Now, police say an AMW tipster helped take the woman responsible down.

AMW host John Walsh and special guest LAPD Chief William Bratton will share the latest developments in the case of “The Grim Sleeper,” a serial killer who earned his nickname after committing at least 11 violent murders in the 1980s, only to resurface and strike again 13 years later.
Walsh will also take viewers to the mean streets populated by the city’s homeless, and ask them to help solve the brutal and senseless murder of John McGraham. McGraham was a fixture on the streets of L.A.’s Koreatown neighborhood, a man who’d been given a raw deal by life but was making the best of it. The community considered him to be one of their own, and protected him as best they could. In October 2008, someone doused the helpless man with gasoline and set him ablaze, leaving him to die in the streets.
AMW has helped law enforcement capture more than 1000 dangerous criminals. The series is produced by STF Productions, Inc., and Lance Heflin is executive producer.

County Sheriff, and Montebello, Calif. police swept into 88 locations in several states in a pre-dawn raid Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 as part of a mission against the Mongols motorcycle gang. The notorious Mongols have been called a "criminal syndicate on wheels" by one ATF agent.

She called the police, and they arrested Hack in a high-tech sting operation, but cops say he cut off his electronic ankle bracelet and fled before trial -- and law enforcement needs your help to catch him.

Less than two weeks after notorious transgendered murder suspect David Wayne French was profiled on AMW, he was caught in Rapid City, S.D. after a bus station employee recognized French from a flyer that local law enforcement had passed around the city. French, also known by the alias Zalia Crizta, is expected to be back in court in December 2008 on murder charges.

Patrolman Christopher Mirabal, known by his family and friends as Chris, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. Unknown Sean Aquitania Killers: On Sept. 14, 2007, Elk Grove School District bus driver, Cathy Snow, witnessed an unforgettable tragedy. At the end of her shift, a man ran alongside her bus with a dying baby in his arms. He handed the child off to a stunned Snow, but it was too late...the 7-month-old baby's injuries were far too severe. Now, authorities in Sacramento, Calif. are on the lookout for two men responsible for the murder of young Sean Aquitania Jr. who was injured during a home invasion robbery that also claimed his father's life.
Julio Guevara-Mejia: Cops in Davis, Calif., say 35-year-old Julio Guevara-Mejia was so rife with misery following the break-up with his girlfriend, who was 17 years younger, that he devised an elaborate plot to exact his revenge. Authorities say Mejia enlisted a 15-year-old to be his accomplice, however, the murderous plot didn't turn out as planned.
The NorCal Rapist: Since 1991, police believe that one man has been responsible for a series of sexual assaults on women across Northern California. He's been dubbed 'The NorCal Rapist' and since his last attack in October 2006, cops have intensified the search for this serial predator.
Pedro Ortiz: Thanks to insider information provided by an AMW tipster, Pedro Ortiz was hauled into police custody on May 29, 2008. The tipster gave police Ortiz's exact location, where authorities say he tried -- unsuccessfully -- to hide from the cops. After seven hours of trying to get him out of the home, he was finally taken down in Lynn, Mass.
Leo Burt: Thirty-seven years ago, the sky lit up in Madison, Wisc. Buildings shook and people 30 miles away could hear the explosion at Sterling Hall. It was the worst case of domestic terrorism until Oklahoma City in 1995. Of the four accused terrorists, three were caught, convicted, and served their time in prison. But one -- Leo Burt -- hasn't been seen or heard from since he fled the scene after the bombing. AMW aired Burt's story in September and you responded by sending in dozens of tips. Dane Brooks: Cops in Pennsylvania are reaching out to the public for information on the whereabouts of a Pittsburgh bouncer who they say shot a man to death in a crowded bar. Cops say Dane Brooks, a convicted felon, was working the front door at Mac Can Do's Bar on March 30, 2008 when he produced a gun and shot 22-year-old John Allen in the neck. Police say after the shooting, Brooks pushed his way out of the bar and hasn't been seen since.
Mario Lozano: Cops say gang member Mario Lozano, 21, thought his girlfriend's cousin was too meddlesome. For weeks, tension between Lozano and 17-year-old Isaac Guzman escalated until, cops say, Lozano stabbed his nemesis 37 times in broad daylight in the middle of a busy civic center. Outraged witnesses chased Lozano and provided key photos to police.

Reigh Storrow Boss: Boston police call Clark Rockefeller, accused of kidnapping his 7-year-old daughter Reigh and going on the run, a "mystery man." Cops say he recently liquidated his assets into gold, possibly preparing for a life on the lam. It turns out the man who claims to be from the famed "Rockefeller" clan isn't a Rockefeller at all. In fact, cops aren't sure who he really is.
Ricky Regalado: Unaware that he was wanted for murder, cops were surprised by the lengths that Richard Regalado went through to avoid capture after he allegedly robbed a bank in Beaumont, Calif. But months later, police finally caught up with Regalado, and he is now behind bars.
Marcos Rivera: Police say they received an anonymous tip that wanted sexual predator Marcos Rivera is staying in Brooklyn, N.Y., and that he could be found at the Port Authority bus terminal. Undercover cops staked out the area, waiting for Rivera to make his move, but haven't nailed the accused child abuser yet.
Graham Gravely: A man who served four years in prison for kidnapping is once again a wanted man and the subject of a manhunt in Arizona. Cops say 51-year-old Graham Gravely bound, raped, and burglarized a 73-year-old woman in her home on July 20, 2008, and authorities hope AMW viewers can help put Gravely back behind bars.
David Marshall: Cops say it all began innocently enough...20-year-old David Marshall met a woman at a Phoenix convenience store and later met her and a group of friends for a night of drinking and romancing. However, the house party ended with a flurry of bullets that left one man dead. The victim, 33-year-old Alan Phillips, came to the shindig late with another woman but bumped into a partygoer's car as he left the home. Police say that's when Marshall shot him three times, point-blank. Now, police are determined to take a ruthless killer off the streets.
Fairly Earls: Wisconsin Police are on the look-out for a convicted sex offender who fought for a new trial... and won .. but took off before launching the defense he claimed was his right.
Ran Mesika: Jonathan Vernier has been convicted of murdering Israeli tourist Ran Mesika, and the disturbing letters he wrote to the victim's father offer a rare glimpse into the mind of a killer.

Jason Derek Brown: As one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted fugitives and a member of John Walsh's Dirty Dozen, Jason Derek Brown is topping the charts as one of the country's most elusive bad boys. The former toy salesman, from Salt Lake City, Utah, is wanted for robbing and killing an armored car driver outside a Phoenix, Ariz. movie theater in November 2004. Cops say Brown fled the scene on a bicycle with more than $50,000 in cash.
Robert William Fisher: Cops in Scottsdale, Ariz. say Robert Fisher couldn't be bothered to get a divorce -- so he murdered his entire family and blew up their home to cover his tracks. Now, John Walsh has added him to his Dirty Dozen list, the notorious group of fugitives he wants to see taken off the streets the most.
Glen Stewart Godwin: Fugitive Glen Stewart Godwin became the only man to ever escape from Folsom Prison in 1987, and hasn't been seen since. Now, authorities would like to see this convicted killer move from "most wanted" to "most likely to spend the rest of his life behind bars."

Butcher of Mamaroneck: Police in New York are piecing together the mystery of three body parts that washed ashore on opposite sides of Long Island Sound; medical examiners have determined that all three body parts belong to the same person. Now, police are looking into whether or not a serial killer is haunting New York's tony suburbs.
David Creamer: David Creamer not only trafficked child pornography, he had an arsenal large enough to equip a small army, according to indictments. When the charges came down, he hit the road. Now the accused pervert has earned a place on both the USMS Top 15 List and I.C.E.'s Top 10 List.
Alfredo Martinez: Cops say Alfredo Martinez dragged a young man to his death in the streets of Houston. Now detectives need help bringing the victim's family the justice they deserve.
David Green: AMW has put "Daddy Dave" Green front and center throughout Cleveland, Ohio and Knox County, Tenn. Green has been featured on digital billboards in multiple locations; now, because of those billboards, police have new information on Green, who escaped from a Federal Correctional Institution Camp in 2000.
Gustavo Mares: Thanksgiving Day 2006. Cops in Irvine, California receive a heartbreaking call that a woman has been murdered. Even worse, her body was discovered by her 9-year-old son. Police say that 36-year-old Brandi Mares was stabbed in the back with a screwdriver by her brother-in-law, Gustavo Mares.
David Block: Florida cops say David Block concocted a dangerous blue drink for a 14-year-old girl -- one that would make her vulnerable to a hideous crime.
Paul Carpenter: Horst Fietze saved for years to afford the vacation that he and his wife took to Santa Monica, Calif. in October of 1998. The house painter from Lobeau, Germany was enjoying his final evening in Southern California as he walked with his wife and another German couple by the luxury hotels and palm trees dotting the Santa Monica beachfront. Cops say the carefree atmosphere vanished the minute Paul Edmond Carpenter approached with a gun and three friends in tow. Now, the FBI has named Carpenter to their 'Featured Fugitives' list in hopes the last suspect in the murder of Horst Fietze will soon be behind bars.

Annette Sanchez: Cops say Annette Sanchez was willing to do anything for her drug-running boyfriend -- including lie to the police. When cops found $9,000 in her purse, she said it was money she'd earned by stripping. Detroit cops say they might've even bought her story, if it weren't for the $1.8 million of dirty money hidden in the trunk of her car.
Rodolfo Gonzalez: On Oct. 30, 2005, a group of close friends celebrated Halloween with a party with a special theme: "Crime Scene." But before the night's end, an ironic twist turned the fake crime scene into a real one.

Muammer Aldailam: Muammer "Mike" Aldailam has evaded Bronx police for more than a month, but now leads are flowing in. Police are following leads all throughout North America so they can finally collar Aldailam. In a moment of passion, cops say Aldailam shot and killed his girlfriend after she tried to break off their relationship. Authorities believe Aldailam may be desperate to get back to his native country of Yemen.

Cops continued investigating, and after making a public appeal, several more victims came forward. Now, he's on the run from the law.
Leanna Warner: Cops in Chisholm, Minn. are not giving up on the search for 5-year-old Leanna Warner. The little girl went missing on June 13, 2003 when she stepped out of her house to go visit a neighbor. Now, cops are looking into people who attended a Chisholm event around the time when Leanna went missing, hoping to find new clues that will help them learn what happened to the little girl.

John Walsh At Sprint All-Star NASCAR Race: John Walsh and the AMW crew headed down to Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, N.C. recently to catch the Sprint NASCAR All-Star Race, and to catch up with some of racing's biggest stars, including Kurt Busch and Kasey Kahne.
Esther Reed: After almost nine years on the run, an AMW tipster brought accused con artist Esther Reed's life as a fugitive to an end on Saturday night in suburban Chicago. Reed -- who police say stole identities and conned her way into the Ivy League -- faces 47 years in a federal lock-up and over $1 million in fines.
Stanek and Ayers: Officer Doug Stanek's dream was to become a police officer, but he couldn't because of his weight. Instead, he became a paramedic for five years. What he didn't know at the time was that after becoming a cop, the skills he learned as a paramedic would be the only things standing between his partner and death.
Aaron Garcia: Aaron Lopez Garcia's no stranger to Washington law enforcement. Saturday, AMW is celebrating their 1,000th capture!
Dwight Smith/1000th Capture: After 21 seasons of television crime fighting, America's Most Wanted has announced that accused killer Dwight Smith -- a NYC real estate agent who cops say killed his friend over a deal -- has become the show's 1,000th direct result capture.
Paul Eischeid: The A.T.F. and police in Tempe, Ariz. have charged outlaw biker Paul Eischeid with an act of savagery in the desert. He's one of the U.S. Marshals' Top 15, and John Walsh has added him to his Dirty Dozen list -- the notorious group of fugitives he wants to see taken off the streets the most.
David James Roberts: When AMW aired for the first time in 1988 no one was sure if it would work. The very first fugitive was a big fish -- one of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted. He turned out be one of the easiest captures.
Nick Corozzo: Little Nicky Corozzo was arguably the Gambino crime family's most powerful chieftain -- and perhaps its craftiest. Cops say Corozzo is responsible for at least two murders, as well as extortion schemes, money laundering and illegal gambling operations. But when a phalanx of law enforcement officers converged on dozens of accused mobsters' homes in February 2008, the most coveted target was the one who got away.
John List: John Emil List, one of the most famous captures in the history of America's Most Wanted, made headlines in 1971 when he brutally and methodically murdered five of his family members. List's 17-year run from the law run ended on June 1, 1989 when he became AMW's 50th direct-result capture; he died on March 21, 2008 at a hospital in New Jersey.
Tempe Bank Heist: It sounds like a scene from a Hollywood movie: three savvy bank robbers scheme to hold a bank manager and his wife hostage the night before their big heist. The FBI says the men responsible for the biggest bank robbery payday in Arizona history not only terrorized one Tempe area couple, they tried and failed to do the same thing to a family the night before in Chandler. Now, a manhunt is underway for the cash-rich culprits who got away with nearly $400,000.
Devon Russell: Smuggling of drugs, weapons and illegal aliens is big business along the U.S. shores. In South Florida, federal, state and local law enforcement are taking on smugglers, and their fight is serious business. Nick Corozzo: Little Nicky Corozzo was arguably the Gambino crime family's most powerful chieftain -- and perhaps its craftiest. Cops say Corozzo is responsible for at least two murders, as well as extortion schemes, money laundering and illegal gambling operations. But when a phalanx of law enforcement officers converged on dozens of accused mobsters' homes in February 2008, the most coveted target was the one who got away.
John List: John Emil List, one of the most famous captures in the history of America's Most Wanted, made headlines in 1971 when he brutally and methodically murdered five of his family members. List's 17-year run from the law run ended on June 1, 1989 when he became AMW's 50th direct-result capture; he died on March 21, 2008 at a hospital in New Jersey.
Tempe Bank Heist: It sounds like a scene from a Hollywood movie: three savvy bank robbers scheme to hold a bank manager and his wife hostage the night before their big heist. The FBI says the men responsible for the biggest bank robbery payday in Arizona history not only terrorized one Tempe area couple, they tried and failed to do the same thing to a family the night before in Chandler. Now, a manhunt is underway for the cash-rich culprits who got away with nearly $400,000.
Devon Russell: Smuggling of drugs, weapons and illegal aliens is big business along the U.S. shores. In South Florida, federal, state and local law enforcement are taking on smugglers, and their fight is serious business. Since 2005, more than 30 innocent men and women have died at sea near Florida's coastline as a result of smuggling. Cops are searching for a key player in the ring, Devon Russell.

The NorCal Rapist: Since 1991, police believe that one man has been responsible for a series of sexual assaults on women in various Northern California communities. He's been dubbed 'The NorCal Rapist' and since his last attack in October of 2006, cops have intensified the search for this serial predator.
Unknown Sean Aquitania Killer: On Sept. 14, 2007, Elk Grove School District bus driver, Cathy Snow, witnessed an unforgettable tragedy. At the end of her shift, a man ran along side her bus with a dying baby in his arms. He handed the child off to a stunned Snow, but it was too late...the 7-month-old baby's injuries were far too severe. Now, authorities in Sacramento, Calif. are on the lookout for two men responsible for the murder of young Sean Aquitania Jr. who was injured during a home invasion robbery that also claimed his father's life.
Maribel Vasquez: For months, accused madam Maribel Rodriguez Vasquez has eluded arrest by federal agents for the atrocious crimes of illegally importing young, innocent girls from Guatemala and forcing them into the brutal life of sexual servitude. Law enforcement officials recently bolstered their efforts to find Vasquez by naming her as one of the FBI's Top Ten Fugitives in Los Angeles and they say that it is only a matter of time until she is captured.
Jurel Roberson: When three army buddies on leave from Iraq headed for a night out to a Tucson, Ariz. nightclub, it seemed like the perfect recipe for some much needed rest and relaxation. However, cops say one of the men chatted up a woman, and her boyfriend -- Jurel Roberson -- may have taken their conversation the wrong way. Hours later, police tell AMW that Roberson gunned down 25-year-old Army Spc. Robert Glenn and left another man wounded in a deadly drive-by shooting.
Delbert Sampson: Delaware State Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a convicted child molester, Delbert Duane Sampson, who they say bolted from the state after failing to register as a sex offender.
Roger Day: Investigators for the Department of Defense are gunning for a con artist with a knack for intrigue. Agents say Roger Charles Day, Jr. may have faked his own death in an attempt to escape prosecution for defrauding the DOD out of $8.4 million in defense contracts.
Pedro Ortiz: A South Boston teen, expecting a fair fight, set out to settle a score in his Dorchester, Mass. neighborhood. But when he arrived, he was mobbed by six attackers ranging in age from 16 to nearly 30. What ensued was a savage beating in full public view.
Brianna Denison: One day after Reno authorities found female remains in an industrial area of southeast Reno, an autopsy has tragically confirmed that the body is that of Brianna Denison. Police say that Brianna was found in a vacant, undeveloped field about 8 miles from where the 19-year-old college student was last seen. The field had up until recently been covered in snow and cops believe that her body had been there for more than a week. The autopsy showed that Brianna had been strangled and now Reno authorities believe that they have a serial rapist on their hands since DNA evidence has linked Brianna's case to three other incidents. The Denison family spoke with AMW today to urge the public to keep a watchful eye for clues leading to Brianna's killer because "now we're on a manhunt."

Emigdio Preciado: On September 5, 2000, cops say Emigdio Preciado, Jr. -- a reputed member of a Whittier, Calif. street gang -- was pulled over for a busted headlight when he shot a Sheriff's Deputy. On March 14, 2007, the FBI added Preciado to their Ten Most Wanted list, and now, the FBI have upped the ante: the bounty for information leading to this fugitive's arrest is now up to $200,000.
Elby Hars: When Elby Hars was released from jail for sexually abusing his daughter, cops say his victim did more than just forgive and forget.
Paul Jackson: Cops say that when Paul Erven Jackson went to visit his brother, the pair didn't engage in the usual family bonding. Instead, police believe they lured teenage girls back to a homemade sex-torture chamber. While Jackson is still on the run, Vance Roberts turned himself in back in September of 2006 and was convicted on June 6, 2007 after an hour of jury deliberation on 24 counts of charges ranging from first-degree kidnap to first-degree rape. On August 3, 2007, Judge Timothy Alexander sentenced Roberts to 108 years in prison.
Alexis Flores: Iriana DeJesus, 5, was found sexually assaulted and strangled to death in an empty apartment complex near her house in 2000. For years, the case went unsolved, but in March, the FBI in Philadelphia got the break they were looking for: a DNA match from a convicted criminal in another state.
Dan Hiers: Dan Hiers, a former cop as well as an accused murderer and child molester, is on the U.S. Marshals' 15 Most Wanted List and is one of AMW'S Dirty Dozen. It's been three years since cops say he killed his wife, stole her truck, and fled South Carolina. The victim's mother, Sueli Cohe de Araujo, just flew to Charleston from Brazil for a memorial service on March 15th, the anniversary of Mila's senseless murder - celebrating her life and reminding the public that Hiers is still on the run. Now, this week, we're hoping you can help us track him down and teach him a thing or two about justice.
